The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fraud case involving unauthorized banking transactions and attempted online shopping purchases.
According to deputies, the victim reported fraudulent charges on a bank account and received numerous emails indicating someone attempted to use multiple online shopping accounts.
The investigation is ongoing.
