PUBLIC INTOXICATION: 100 block of Cambridge Street Stafford VA

At the start of the year, First Sergeant D.W. Fetterolf was in the area when he observed a male stumble into the road and nearly get struck by a vehicle. First Sergeant Fetterolf made contact with the male as Deputy A.J. Charoenthep responded to assist. While the suspect had signs of intoxication, when asked how much he had to drink, the suspect advised “it doesn’t matter.” Actually, it did, and he was charged with public intoxication. Despite being arrested, the suspect advised he was “happy” to be able to sleep off the intoxication at the comfy Rappahannock Regional Jail. He was held until sober.
