A 41-year-old Fredericksburg resident was arrested following a suspicious-person report at the Country Inn and Suites near 656 Warrenton Road.
Deputy Sayegh responded and was approached by an intoxicated person who allegedly displayed slurred speech, an unsteady balance and an odor of alcohol. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the person became aggressive and was subsequently arrested.
The person was identified as Rachel Brenke, 41, of Fredericksburg. Brenke was charged with public intoxication and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
