A Stafford County deputy responded to Pancho Villa Mexican Restaurant after receiving reports of an intoxicated individual who refused to leave the business despite repeated requests from employees.
Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the suspect and observed several signs of impairment, including a strong odor of alcohol, glassy eyes, and slurred speech. Authorities said the individual repeatedly failed to comply with police instructions during the encounter.
The suspect, identified as 43-year-old George Mwaura of Hawthorne, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. He was transported to Rappahannock Regional Jail, where he was held until sober. In addition, he was issued a trespass notice prohibiting him from returning to the restaurant.
