Deputy Robertson responded to a disturbance complaint Wednesday evening at OneLife Fitness on Garrisonville Road involving an intoxicated person. After making contact, the suspect told the deputy they had consumed two alcoholic beverages after work.
Authorities said the suspect showed several signs of impairment, including a strong odor of alcohol, bloodshot eyes, and an unsteady balance. The suspect was then taken into custody.
The individual was identified as Max Slagle, 23, of Stafford. Slagle was charged with public intoxication and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
