Deputy Croson responded to a report of an intoxicated individual lying in a ditch filled with approximately one foot of water.
The individual showed signs of impairment, including slurred speech, glassy eyes, and difficulty balancing. After admitting to drinking earlier in the day, the individual was arrested and charged with public intoxication. The suspect was transported to Rappahannock Regional Jail and held until sober.
