Deputy E.L. Shelton was in the area when he observed a male napping on a bench outside the business. It was quickly discovered the male wasn’t there for a blooming onion due to his signs of intoxication. The male would admit to consuming six drinks and an empty alcoholic can was located underneath him. He was charged with public intoxication and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
