Deputy N.D. Fonseca responded to a case of attempted real estate fraud. A victim reported being contacted by a realtor to confirm a supposed sale of her land—property she never listed. It was later discovered that a scammer had presented false identification in an attempt to fraudulently sell the land. The case is currently under investigation.
