Sergeant Amato responded to a reckless driving complaint near Stafford Hospital Center after reports indicated a driver nearly caused multiple crashes.
Authorities said the suspect denied driving and refused to cooperate with investigators. However, camera footage allegedly confirmed the suspect had been driving recklessly on Jefferson Davis Highway and nearly caused a collision.
Investigators also determined the suspect’s license had been revoked.
James Ansah Jr., 22, of Triangle, was charged with reckless driving and driving with a revoked license. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
