Deputy Jones observed a vehicle traveling at excessive speeds and initiated a pursuit. The suspects later abandoned the vehicle and were located walking nearby.
The driver, Jalil Wilson, 27, of Stafford, admitted to attempting to avoid detection and was arrested. He was charged with reckless speeding and eluding police.
Two passengers, Tramir Ladipo, 18, of Fredericksburg, and Xavier Wilson, 19, of Stafford, were also charged with eluding police. All were released pending court appearances.
