A male subject was caught on surveillance stealing four cases of alcohol from the Wawa on Garrisonville Road. With help from identifying information, deputies located him at a nearby motel. The suspect, John Townsell IV, 29, of Stafford, initially provided a false name but was later identified. He was arrested and charged with shoplifting, obstruction of justice, identity fraud, and providing false identification. Townsell is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail with no bond.
