A reported shoplifting incident at Sheetz on Washington Square Plaza resulted in an arrest.
The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect had been seen on camera allegedly shoplifting and was stopped by security. Surveillance footage showed the suspect placing items into a bag and passing all points of sale without paying, according to the report.
Police said the suspect admitted to shoplifting.
Victoria Lipford, 55, of Stafford, was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She was also trespassed from the store.
