Deputy M.N. Sayegh was dispatched to Walmart following a report of theft. A female suspect was observed stuffing unpaid merchandise into her backpack and also engaging in “skip scanning” at self-checkout. The total value of stolen goods exceeded $200. The suspect was issued a summons for shoplifting.
