A shoplifting incident is under investigation after deputies were called to the Giant grocery store on Worth Avenue.
Loss prevention personnel reported that a suspect entered the store with a backpack placed in a shopping cart. The individual then went to the frozen food section, concealed merchandise inside the backpack, and exited the store without paying.
Authorities reviewed camera footage confirming the incident and obtained a list of the stolen items. The suspect has not yet been identified.
