A Fredericksburg man was arrested after deputies found him asleep behind the wheel of a parked vehicle.
Deputies reported the driver displayed signs of intoxication after being awakened. He refused breath testing both during the investigation and again at the Sheriff’s Office. A bottle of alcohol was also located inside the vehicle. Daryl Allen, 55, of Fredericksburg, was charged with driving under the influence, drinking while operating a motor vehicle, and refusal to submit to testing. He was held on a secured bond.
