STAFFORD, VA — A 43-year-old Stafford man was arrested after deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person allegedly stumbling through a neighborhood on Newport Court.
The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect displayed signs of impairment, including profuse sweating, an odor of marijuana and incoherent statements.
The man admitted to smoking marijuana earlier that day, according to the report.
Deputies identified the suspect as Jason Fordham, 43, of Stafford. Fordham was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
