A Stafford woman was arrested on a public intoxication charge after deputies found her walking unsteadily in the roadway.
Deputies reported the woman showed signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, glassy eyes and the odor of alcohol. She admitted to drinking earlier in the day.
Constance Morris, 44, of Stafford, was charged with public intoxication and held until sober.
