A Stafford woman is facing shoplifting charges after an investigation at Target on South Gateway Drive.
Loss Prevention officers stopped the suspect after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for multiple items. Surveillance footage reportedly showed she scanned only part of her merchandise before exiting. Authorities also connected her to a similar incident earlier this year. Nikkia Matete, 47, of Stafford, was charged with two counts of shoplifting and released on a court summons.
