Deputies responding to a disturbance at the Super 8 motel on Warrenton Road ended up arresting a woman wanted in Prince William County.
Deputy P.J. Leon arrived at the scene after receiving a report of a female suspect exhibiting behaviors associated with drug use. Upon making contact, the suspect was attempting to hide drug paraphernalia under the floor mat of a vehicle.
A background check revealed that the woman was wanted for felony hit and run in Prince William County. She was immediately arrested and held without bond at Rappahannock Regional Jail.
Additional possession of controlled substances charges are pending.
