Deputy M. A. Floirendo initiated a traffic stop near Fas Mart for a vehicle without an inspection sticker. Before the deputy could approach, the driver entered the store.
The driver was located inside and identified as Christopher Villarrial, 35, of Stafford. Authorities determined his license was suspended and that he had a prior offense for driving suspended.
An inventory search of the vehicle, conducted prior to towing, uncovered suspected controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, evidence indicative of distribution, and a vehicle title that did not match the vehicle being operated.
Villarrial was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an open title, no vehicle inspection, no vehicle registration, and driving revoked. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.
