Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle call and found a driver asleep behind the wheel with the keys in the ignition. Upon awakening, the driver showed clear signs of intoxication and admitted to drinking “some beers.” He was charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content over .2, as well as driving while suspended. The suspect remains in custody at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
