A Tesla found stopped in the middle of the road led to a DUI arrest. The driver, found to be intoxicated with open alcohol containers in the vehicle, attempted to dodge the charges by saying the vehicle was in “autopilot.” That defense failed, and the driver was charged with DUI, drinking while driving, and refusal to take a breath test. He is being held without bond.
