Deputy W.E. Trainor responded to a threat against the school. Staff received information that a student threatened to shoot up the school, specifically “the mean teachers,” if school was not canceled for Thursday. Deputy Trainor made contact with the juvenile, who advised it was just a joke. No one was laughing in this serious situation and a criminal complaint for threats of death was submitted. Juvenile Intake was contacted and elected to detain the juvenile.
