Traffic Stop at Richmond Highway Wawa Leads to Multiple Charges

A speeding vehicle drew the attention of a Stafford County sergeant, who initiated a traffic stop. The driver initially failed to stop before pulling into a Wawa parking lot. Investigators determined the driver had a DUI-revoked license and displayed signs of intoxication. Michael Crockett, 38, of Stafford, was charged with driving under the influence, driving after forfeiture of a license, reckless driving, and drinking while operating a motor vehicle. He was held without bond.
