The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office received a fraud report on England Pointe Drive involving a credit card account allegedly opened without the victim’s authorization.
The victim told authorities they discovered that a credit card had been opened in their name. The victim contacted their bank and credit bureaus, which froze their credit.
A police report was needed as part of the investigation.
