Deputy Floirendo responded to a larceny complaint at Walmart on Washington Square after a customer reported losing their wallet inside the store.
The victim told deputies they accidentally dropped the wallet in an aisle. According to the victim, another individual appeared to notice the wallet before turning and leaving the aisle.
Loss Prevention staff provided surveillance footage of the incident. The victim also reported they had already locked their financial accounts and provided a description of the wallet and its contents.
No suspect has been identified at this time.
