At Walmart on Garrisonville Road, a suspect was seen scanning only one item while placing multiple unpaid items into a cart. Deputy N.J. Amato, III used the vehicle’s registration to locate the suspect, who admitted to the theft. The individual was released on a summons for shoplifting.
