A shoplifting incident at a Stafford Walmart escalated after the suspect attempted to flee and provided false identification.
Store employees detained the suspect after observing them conceal several food items and bypass checkout. When deputies arrived, the suspect attempted to escape but was quickly stopped.
During the investigation, officers discovered multiple cutting instruments on the suspect and determined the identity initially provided was false.
Blanca Graham, 69, of Spotsylvania, was charged with concealment, identity theft, providing false identification, and identity theft to avoid arrest. She was released on an unsecured bond.
