Stafford County deputies arrested a Dumfries man early Tuesday morning after responding to reports of an intoxicated individual along Walnut Farms Parkway.
According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, deputies made contact with Patrick Jenkins, 44, who allegedly displayed several signs of intoxication including slurred speech, glassy eyes, and a strong odor of alcohol. Authorities said Jenkins became argumentative and failed to comply with deputies’ directions during the encounter.
Jenkins was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
