An intoxicated driver investigation at a Stafford Wawa led to the arrest of a Fredericksburg woman who was also wanted on outstanding warrants.
Deputies responded to reports of a suspected drunk driver and located the individual at the scene. The driver displayed multiple signs of impairment, including slurred speech, glassy eyes, lack of balance, and the odor of alcohol.
Following field sobriety tests, the driver was taken into custody. She was identified as 51-year-old Kimberly Beaty of Fredericksburg.
Beaty faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence, driving without a license, driving on a revoked license, and operating a vehicle with an expired inspection. She was also served on her outstanding warrants and is being held without bond at Rappahannock Regional Jail.
