A wanted man thought he could sleep off his problems at the Sleep Inn, but deputies had other plans. Acting on an anonymous tip, authorities arrived at the hotel to find the suspect barricaded in his room, refusing to come out. After a brief standoff, he realized deputies weren’t leaving and ultimately surrendered. He was served his outstanding warrant and additionally charged with obstruction of justice. He is currently being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
