Deputy Bates located a wanted individual at Fredericksburg Motor Sports on Kings Highway and took the suspect into custody.
During a search, deputies reportedly discovered a bag containing white powder residue along with drug paraphernalia.
Denver Kidd Jr., 38, of Fredericksburg, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
