STAFFORD, VA — A 34-year-old Stafford man was arrested on multiple charges after a deputy responded to a narcotics report at a Dunkin Donuts near 551 Warrenton Road.
The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office said information was provided that a suspect had left marijuana and other items inside the store. When contacted, the suspect allegedly denied ownership and provided false identification to the deputy.
An initial investigation revealed the man’s identity and showed he was wanted out of Petersburg, Virginia, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested the suspect, and a subsequent search allegedly resulted in narcotics being found.
The man was identified as Tyrell Allen, 34, of Stafford. Allen was charged with two counts of possession of Schedule I or II controlled substances, false identification to law enforcement and identity theft to avoid arrest. He was also served with his outstanding warrants.
Allen was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. The narcotics were submitted as evidence.
