A deputy responded to a disturbance. Staff advised they wanted an unregistered guest trespassed. Deputy Steinway made contact with the suspect, who provided a false identification. After discovering her real identity, it was discovered she was wanted out of Spotsylvania for a failure to appear offense. The suspect advised she lied about her identity because she had plans for Saturday and didn’t want to miss it by being in jail. Her plans would quickly change when she was charged with providing a false identification for law enforcement and served on her outstanding warrant. She was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
