Deputy B.E. Vaughn responded to an easy warrant service. The suspect called the Sheriff’s Office to inquire if he was wanted. Turns out, he was in fact wanted out of North Carolina for felony offenses. Rather than let him know by phone, Deputy Vaughn went to deliver the news in person. The suspect was charged with fugitive from justice and held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $3,000 secured bond.
