Sergeant M.E. McCann and Deputy A.J. Charoenthep were patrolling the area when they observed an individual they were familiar with. He was currently wanted out of Fredericksburg for a capias. The suspect was detained and discovered to be in possession of suspected controlled substances. He would admit the substance was “a little coke.” A little or a lot, he was charged with possession of controlled substances on top of his outstanding warrant. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
