Washington, D.C. Man Arrested After Disturbance on Abberly Drive

A Washington, D.C., man faces multiple charges after deputies responded to a disturbance on Abberly Drive.

According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect was reported to be wearing only part of his clothing and did not live in the neighborhood. Deputies located him asleep in the area.

After waking him, deputies observed signs of alcohol impairment, including slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol. During the investigation, deputies discovered a firearm and narcotics in his possession and determined he was a convicted felon.

Douglas Boomer, 30, was arrested and charged with public intoxication, possession of a weapon by a felon, sexual display, and carrying a concealed weapon while intoxicated. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a secured bond.
