Deputy Jett responded to a vandalism complaint at the Belle Plains Boat Club after a broken window was discovered at the clubhouse.
Investigators found a shattered window pane and a wooden table that had been flipped over. Most of the broken glass was located inside the building, indicating the window was likely broken from outside.
Officials determined the window was too small for someone to climb through, and no entry appeared to have been made into the clubhouse. The remainder of the building was untouched.
Authorities advised the club to review surveillance footage and contact deputies if additional evidence is discovered.
