A 34-year-old Kentucky woman was arrested after deputies investigated a disturbance at the Wawa on Austin Park Drive.
The Sheriff’s Office said the suspect knocked the victim’s items off a counter, resulting in the victim being struck. Deputies spoke with both parties and reviewed surveillance footage that police said confirmed the account of what occurred.
Rachel Farrell, 34, of Shelbyville, Kentucky, was charged with assault and battery and released on an unsecured bond.
